about

Stella Splendens is a song from a manuscript called the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat, essentially a manuscript put together by a member of the clergy in around 1399, near Barcelona. Many songs of this sort were collected by the author(s) in order to encourage peasants along a pilgrimage to partake in ecclesiastical worship in their music instead of rabble-rousing, carousing, and partying (essentially, many of the songs were intended to redirect the peoples' musical tendencies towards a more 'holy' direction). This is a Single from a coming album titled "Madder and Clay", which will be my second album release of all time!
